Run-A-Mile Training Program

Fleet Feet Sports Columbia
is offering a 4-week training program for beginners hoping to run one continuous mile. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activity of running and to encourage healthier lifestyles.

The Run A Mile class offers participants guidance and advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational information on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment. Fleet Feet will provide each participant with a moisture-wicking shirt upon graduation from the program. A $50 registration fee will cover all aspects of the program.

**Orientation: Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 6:30PM at Fleet Feet Sport Columbia

Program start date: Tuesday, February 7, 2017
Last day to sign up: Wednesday, February 15, 2017 
Program fees: $50

Duration: 4 weeks
Training: The group will meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30PM,and Saturdays at 7:00AM
Locations: Tuesdays, TBA, Saturdays at Fleet Feet Columbia, Thursday TBA
