Jump-start your health with our safe, fun, coach-led 4-week beginner running program.

  • Do you want to learn about yourself and how to be a new and healthier you?

Well, we have it!!!   The perfect program for you!!

Fleet Feet Sports offers a 4-week training program for beginners hoping to run one continuous mile. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activity of running and to encourage healthier lifestyles.

New Beginnings Run a Mile Program will offer participants guidance and advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational information on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment.

Orientation: Wednesday, February 1, 2017 , 6:45PM at Fleet Feet Sports
Program start date: Saturday, February 4, 2017
Last day to sign up: Thursday February 9, 2017
Fees: $50 through November 10th/ $55 after November 12th

  • Locations: All training locations will be announced at a later date.

  • Training: All training programs will meet three times per week. Lots of our runners come to the Monday evening pub run at The British Bulldog Pub on Mondays at 6:15PM for their 3rd training day of the week. Other times and dates will be discussed at the program orientation. Date and times are subject to change.
