Run-a-Mile Training

Fleet Feet Sports is offering a 4-week training program for beginners hoping to run one continuous mile. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activity of running and to encourage healthier lifestyles.
New Beginnings will offer participants guidance and advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational information on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment. Fleet Feet will provide each participant with a moisture-wicking shirt upon graduation from the program. A $45 registration fee will cover all aspects of the program.

Training: The group will meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm and Saturday at 7:00am (times are subject to change)
