Fleet Feet Sports Columbia Fall 5k training program is designed to help runners and run/walkers successfully complete the Ray Tanner 5k (3.1miles). The 11 week program will safely train beginners for their first 5k, or help experienced runners improve upon their previous 5k time. NEW TO 2018 EARN YOUR BADGE. We believe all your hard work and effort deserve a symbol of achievement, which is why all Fleet Feet Running Club members will earn a badge after completion all programs. The Ray Tanner 5k is the target race but you are welcome to choose a different race or run/walk with us for accountability. Along the way, we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving by providing guidance and advice. The program includes: weekly group training run/walks, weekly newsletters with training tips, educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!
