Fleet Feet Sports is offering a 6-week training program for beginners hoping to run one continuous mile. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and to encurage them to live healthier lifestyles.
New Beginnings will offer participants:
- guidance and advice from experienced coaches
- weekly group training runs or walks
- a group setting for motivation and accountability
- educational information on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment
- each participant will receive a moisture-wicking shirt and a training log/journal. A $45 registration fee will cover all aspects of the program
Orientation: Thursday, 6:00pm, January 7th at Fleet Feet Sports
Training: Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm and every Saturday at 7:30am
Location of the training runs will vary.
Program Fees: $45.
